Toward the end of my time at colleges, I signed up for a calculus course. The first day I realized that the other students weren't even born when I last studied math in high school (geometry, algebra) and that I had forgotten everything. So I bought books to catch up and crammed my way through them, while attending all the calculus classes and flunking all the weekly quizzes. By the end I had caught up—and aced the final exam!
Now, some twenty or more years later, I have forgotten it all because I never used it.
If you don't start taking pictures again, you will soon forget how to do that too! Just carrying a camera around and not shooting any pictures does not count! John N.
