What an odd ladder. What was it designed for?
Richard, Run a search on the Web for "folding ladder". Many look just about like the one in my picture. I especially liked the workman at the bottom stabilizing the ladder for the worker above. Smart.
I get the folding bit. It's the treads: some in the middle, some on top, some appear to clip on. And the hinge isn't in the middle.
