This was a sign on a wall in a bank in Vienna in 2011. Not sure what it meant then…elevator, perhaps?
That sign designates a meeting point in case of an emergency. Usually they have alphanumeric names so that rescue services can identify them.
Thank you for the clarification, Markus. In case of emergency, everyone cram into this broom closet. But now we have mandated social distancing. Wonder what the sign is for that?T.
