The question reminds me of the biblical (I know, I know your disinclination, but still...) "hiding one's light under a bushel": It still shines.The light will be there, the surf will crash, someone looking or not, us gone, no matter.Only the waves will crash probably at your position in foreseeable future.(P.S. This comment I intended to write some days earlier, but the internet is not the internet in many places.)
