Now that is a very fine photograph indeed. The quality of the seeing aside -- and that is a very well seen image -- I'm beginning to suspect that those old sensors had something later ones do not.
I progressed through the Nikon Coolpix line, from, 950 through 8400, then, when their innovation left them, I switched to Pentax DSLR (from K-10 through K-70 and K1). Just like analog photography—bigger is better! In digital terms, bigger sensors give me more raw material to work with.
