Carl, et al, I have added the detail to show that the lady was holding a small, chrome digital snapshot camera, not a phone (remember that this was made in 2011; before 'smart' phones became the 'norm'. I do love her expression, directed, I assume to the person out of sight next to the statue.
At the same time, I lament the loss now of digital cameras with built-in flash. While I don't use them often, I certainly appreciate the option. (My favorite travel camera now—should I ever be able to travel again—is the Pentax K-70, with flash >and> fully articulated LCD.
