For me the main question would be: what waits for me if I enter this door?
Markus, Well, it's a church and there is light on the other side, so odds are that it is either an entrance or an exit, so there is a way out. Most encouraging with any religion.
You are shure that nobody with 'fasces' is waiting to beat me up? For me this looks more like a door to purgatory.
