I think there's an excellent project to be done on the "facilities" of galleries, museums, and concert halls worldwide, a subject of intense interest, especially to the older male. Not a Becher-style taxonomy, but exactly like this: shame you're no longer travelling.
For example, I still amazed that there are no urinals in the Uffizi...
Mike, According to Google Maps, taking the train from the Uffizi to the Wiener Secessionsgebäude would take thirteen hours and four minutes, although the urinals are beautiful and I don't remember ever encountering anyone else during my visits of necessity, so, no waiting.
See, this why we need this project. Will it take longer to wait for a closet to come free, or to head to the nearest station? And, crucially, where is the nearest *beautiful* gents loo? As an aesthete, I can't just pee anywhere.
