Serendipity plays such a large part in 'active' photography, especially true for me because I only make a single, quick, exposure with precious little conscious consideration, and move on.
Others may stop and think about what they are seeing, or take a series of pictures.
I wait until later—often years—for the image to reveal what I saw.
