I like this image a lot. It also reminds me of something a Canadian friend (he was an itinerant musician, and often hungry) used to say, as we were sitting down to some shared meals: (recited in a sort of a sing-song fashion) 'Good bread, good meat - Good God, let's eat!' Bon appétit! Or, as they say down in México, ¡Provecho!
The image was from 2009. I spotted the storefront while riding in a car in downtown San Antonio, Texas. The image stuck with me and I had to later walk around the neighborhood until I found it again.
But, no, I did not eat there.
On the other hand, I saw this sign on a restaurant in Brussels, in 2005, and have always regretted that I did not go in there. See next post.
