This picture, taken in October 1999, was one of the first images I made with a digital camera that pleased me. It was my first digital camera, a Nikon CoolPix 950, and the sensor was 6.4 x 4.8mm and 2 megapixels:

My present digital camera sensor is 36 x 24mm and 36 megapixels. A bit of a difference, although what is required for a good picture remains the same.
